Business English is designed for those who want to improve their English in a business context. There is a great deal of practical emphasis including exposure to business situations.
The focus is on business skills and situations such as giving presentations, writing reports and emails, taking part in meetings,negotiating, socialising and making conversation. Lessons will include a focus on business vocabulary and English grammar as well as reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
OPTIONAL – CAMBIDGE ENGLISH BUSINESS CERTIFICATE – BEC
Sstudents’ who need English certificate for their professional life at intermediate (B1) and post-intermediate level (B2) can also take the Cambridge English BusinessCertificate Preliminary and Vantage (BEC) examination. You do not have to take the BEC examination at the end of this course – this is optional and you can do this course just to improve your professional English.
There are three exams in the Cambridge English: Business Certificates (BEC) suite of exams. Each one is targeted at a different level and Cambridge English: BusinessPreliminary (B1) is the first and Vantage (B2) is the second of these exams. The content for each exam is based on everyday work and business tasks and is designed to develop business English skills.The BEC consists of four examination papers: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.This course will give you endorsement on the language to function in the work place and international marketplace at B1 and B2 level of CEFR.
